PR and Photography for Bunting and Vulcanis

Having worked in the recycling industry for over 20 years, I was thrilled at having the opportunity to go to a new site to take photographs and interview the plant operator.  Carlton Hicks, the Bunting UK Sales Manager, and I drove up to Barking to meet Mena Ramsis, the MD of Vulcanis.  Vulcanis had just opened a brand new processing plant for recovering steel and aluminium Used Beverage Cans (UBCs).  Mena was very helpful and we really appreciated his support in putting the PR together.

Bunting had supplied a Cross-Belt Overband Magnet to attract and separate the steel cans.  I set up my Canon 5D and spent an hour or so looking at ways to creatively demonstrate what was happening.  We got some great shots, which can be seen on my website.

Having taken the photographs, I then wrote up a case history and distributed the story to relevant press.  We've had fantastic media coverage both in the UK and internationally.  The latest was online in the HUB

The mix of good photography and an interesting story has worked really well and this is one of a number that we have worked on together and there are more in the pipeline.
