Celebrating Business Working with Local Communities

In my role as an Events Photographer, I get the opportunity to photograph awards evenings and the Business In The Community Cymru Responsible Business Awards is one of my favourites.  A selection of the photographs can be seen on the Business Awards section on my website.

The Responsible Business Awards celebrate and recognise business working with and helping their local communities.  I have had the great fortune to photograph some of these events including the Give and Gain Day, Wales Action Week and the LEGO Green City Challenge.  Employees from large and small companies get involved in everything from painting railings, helping old people with their IT skills, and building LEGO models.

The BiTC Cymru Responsible Business Awards recognise and celebrate that work.

Every year, the BiTC Cymru team work hard to create something that is different and in 2016 the theme was very much Japanese.  This was to celebrate Fijitsu being acknowledged as the Responsible Business of the Year for the whole of the UK.  Large origami Dragons, in BiTC magenta, adorned the tables and were the subjects of some brilliant 'selfies' that were tweeted on the night.

The awards evening was hosted by Lucy Owen, the ultimate professional, and held at the Cardiff City Stadium.  Throughout the message was simple:  business collaboration with local communities works and benefits both parties.

Once again, Paul Williams Events designed the layout of the room and used an array of magenta lights and decorations to bring through BiTC's branding.

The 2016 awards was another success for the BiTC Cymru team and the photographs can be seen in the Business Awards section of my website.
