Cadair Idris is always the mountain that the teams fear most on the Tŷ Hafan Welsh 3 Peaks. The 803m climb is the highest of all three mountains, starting in the base of the valley and climbing near vertically up steps through an old wood before reaching the sweeping path that takes you to the top. It is also my favourite. I climb 1/4 of the way up for team photos with the amazing backdrop of mountains.
