Trek For Tomorrow 2021 Cancer Research Wales

Despite heavy rain and high winds, an intrepid group of fundraisers hiked 15 miles over the three highest peaks (Fan-y-Big, Cribyn and Pen-y-Fan) in the Brecon Beacons on the Cancer Research Wales Trek For Tomorrow hike (2nd October 2021).  The hike took over 7 hours and by the time the group returned to Brecon Rugby Club, everyone was totally soaked to the skin and exhausted.  My job was to take a photographic story of the day, which was easier said than done.  Futile attempts to keep my kit dry meant that I was often taking photographs with rain water running down my lens.  Despite the challenges, here is a selection of photographs from the day that show the wonderful and amazing hikers pushing themselves to the limit to raise funds for an amazing Welsh charity.  Congratulations to everyone who took part.  It was an honour to walk with you.
