On Saturday 26th January 2019, the kitchen at voco St David’s Hotel in Cardiff was packed with some of the most talented chefs residing in the UK. This was the biennial Chefs Night Out charity dinner, raising funds for the Welsh children’s hospice, Tŷ Hafan.  There was a fantastic atmosphere in the dining room and the kitchen as Michelin star chefs created some incredible plates of food. I could only watch as plates decorated with incredibly aromatic and visually delightful food passed me by. I am sure I was drooling at one stage. It was an amazing event to photograph, with chefs coming into the dining room to spend time with the people on their tables.  However, the reason for Cardiff’s Chefs Night Out dinner was to raise money for Tŷ Hafan. With a mixture of raffle prizes and a jaw-dropping auction, over £150,000 was raised. What an evening!
