5in55 Mountain Challenge Pen y Fan

HomeimagesTy Hafan.  At 886m above sea level, Pen-y-Fan is the highest mountain in South Wales and is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park.  This was the mountain that most of the team had trained on and so we knew it well.  At the top we all held each other close and had a minute in silence to reflect on our families, those who we had lost, and what we had achieved.  This had been a crazy challenge and the Dads had won. All profits from the sale of any photograph print or download in this collection will go to the Ty Hafan #5in55 challenge. The photographs can be viewed in 6 separate albums as shown below: Day 1 – The drive up to Ben Nevis: The Photos Day 2 – Stage 1 of the #5in55 challenge and climbing Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain in Scotland: The Photos Day 3 – Stage 2 of the #5in55 challenge and climbing Scafell Pike in the Lake District, the highest mountain in England:  The Photos Day 3 – Stage 3 of the #5in55 challenge and climbing Snowdon in North Wales, the highest mountain in Wales:  The Photos Day 4 – Stage 4 of the #5in55 challenge and climbing Cadair Idris in Snowdonia National Park in North Wales:  The Photos Donations can still be made via the 5in55 Just Giving page.
