10nTaff Training March 2020

To say March 2020 was tough is an understatement.  The rise of the coronavirus pandemic changed everyone’s life.  As the severity of the crisis became increasingly apparent, it was inevitable that the 10nTaff challenge for Tŷ Hafan would be postponed, and is now rescheduled for July 2021.  We are a family with a vulnerable person and so isolation became our life.  In an attempt to maintain some sanity, I managed to get out for walks and bike rides in the nearby countryside, avoiding other people along the way and maintaining strict social distancing.  My 10nTaff training in March included 12 hours (38 miles) of walking, 8 hours (66 miles) of cycling and over 3700 separate strength exercises.  The month started very wet with floods followed by a drop in temperature to the arrival of Spring.  Here are a few photographs taken on my travels.
