The 2026 Celtic Financial Charity Dinner was held on the 19th June in Chester, United Kingdom with the aim of raising funds for Alder Hey Children’s Charity and Mind. Compered by former Wales and Llanelli rugby player Rupert Moon, auctions, raffles, and heads and tails helped part guests with money for the special charities. The highlight of the evening was a Q & A with two legends of rugby union. Shane Williams MBE, the 2008 World Rugby Player of the Year and all-time Wales rugby legend, was joined on stage by Nigel Owens MBE who is widely regarded as one of the greatest rugby referees of all time. A great evening organised in conjunction with The Events Room.
