The Events Room have staged some amazing sports hospitality events in 2019, many of which I have been fortunate enough to photograph.  Their last event of the year was their annual ‘Christmas Cracker’ held at The Exchange Hotel in Cardiff.  The guests of honour were three greats of modern football;  Neil Ruddock, Ray Parlour and Lee Sharpe.  Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock was renown as a hard-man of football.  He played for many clubs including Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur, with the longest stint of his career being at my club Liverpool.  Ray Parlour is an Arsenal legend, playing 339 times between 1992 and 2004 including the ‘Invincibles’ season of 2003-04.  Lee Sharpe played 193 times for Manchester United and was one of the youngsters nurtured by Sir Alex Ferguson as they dominated British football in the 1990s.  Their stories of life as a professional footballer captivated the whole audience.  Another brilliant event.
