Armed with my DJI Mini 2, a sub-250g drone that still amazes me with its stunning 4K video capabilities, I took to the skies over the beautiful coastal towns of Pula and Rovinj.

Croatia’s dramatic coastline, crystal-clear Adriatic waters, and historic architecture make it a dream destination for aerial photography. Seeing these locations from above reveals a completely different perspective, from the colourful rooftops of Rovinj to the remarkably preserved Roman Amphitheatre in Pula. You may even recognise the arena from the BBC series Destination X. Spoiler alert…
