The South Wales valleys have traditionally had a true community spirit, epitomised by the new Cynon Linc hub in Aberdare.  When photographing the wonderfully renovated building and speaking with those running the hub, I gained an appreciation of the importance of the new centre for the local community.  Cynon Linc is available to all ages and abilities and provides a place for local residents to eat and socialise, as well as providing spaces for hire and a range of services and facilities available to the wider community. In additional, the hub offers a variety of services to help support older people living in the local community and is available to public, third and private sector organisations for hire.
