The rain held back and there were wintry blue skies above the National Trust’s Dyffryn Gardens. The perfect time to stroll around the gardens in search of special Christmas trees. Dyffryn Gardens Christmas 2018 features trees that reflect the history of the wonderful house and grounds. Even during an afternoon out with my wife, I was armed with my faithful camera. The watery sunshine cast long shadows and most of the fauna lacked any colour, but the blue skies and late afternoon sun were something special.
