It was great to be back at the 2021 Concrete Spoon, the Autumn rugby lunch organised by the Concrete Society and held in conjunction with the Wooden Spoon.  Once again Jo Davies and I were the event photographers at a new venue at Cardiff Arms Park in the centre of the city.  This year’s guests were England and British & Irish Lions legends Jason Leonard and Simon Shaw with regular host Sean Holley.  As always, this was a great afternoon’s entertainment for any rugby enthusiast.  The stories came thick and fast, much to the amusement of Sean Holley and the audience.  The Concrete Spoon event raises money for the Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby, to fund projects to support children with disabilities across the UK & Ireland.  This year’s event raised £26,700, which is simply incredible!
