With my background in mineral processing, I am always fascinated by technology used to purify and separate valuable minerals.  The Induced Magnetic Roll Separator (IMR) is a magnetic separator first developed decades ago, but whose separation performance has been continually enhanced with developments in materials and manufacturing techniques.  Bunting-Redditch is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of the Induced Magnetic Roll Separator and built this laboratory-scale unit for an Indian mineral processing research institute.  Theses photographs were used on the Bunting-Redditch website, in technical literature and to support both blogs and press releases.
