Rhossili Bay (Rhosili in Welsh) on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales is recognised as one of the most spectacular beaches in Europe, if not the world. The golden sands sweep for three miles between the Worm’s Head in the south and Burry Holms in the north. The beach is backed by rolling sand dunes. The stunning coast has featured in many television programmes including Doctor Who, Torchwood: Miracle Day and the final episode of The Winter King. This part of the Gower coastline forms part of the Wales Coastal Path.
