I have been attending the RWM exhibition since the late 1980s. There has been a monumental change in the attitude towards the environment and recycling, along with many significant technological developments. This year RWM combined with Letsrecycle Live to stage the leading show for the recycling sector in the UK. The RWM Letsrecycle Live show was held at the NEC in Birmingham over 2-days (14-15 September) and included both an internal and external exhibition. I attended as Bunting’s Press Officer, taking photographs and video on the stand to use on social media and in a post-show review. The Bunting-Redditch stand was pretty dynamic with a Metal Separation Module (drum Magnet with Eddy Current Separator), separating aluminium from shredded PET bottles and a Stainless Steel Magnetic Separator removing problematic stainless-steel from shredded uPVC window frames.
