Cancer Research Wales Swansea University

The amazing Welsh charity Cancer Research Wales focuses on funding research into cancer treatment and, ultimately, a cure.  I photographed a tour of laboratories in Swansea University where scientists and doctors are undertaking research funded by Cancer Research Wales.  Guests included Wales footballer Danny Gabbidon, actor Mark Lewis Jones, and ITV Cymru Wales weather presenter Ruth Dodsworth.  The scientists and doctors explained how Wales-based cancer research is world-leading.  The support provided by Cancer Research Wales is funding advances in earlier and easier diagnosis, which then significantly increases the chances of recovery.  It was an incredible few hours.  To support Cancer Research Wales go to DONATE.
