On 2nd February 2023, the Institute of Export & International Trade (IEO&IT) held an event at the Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay to launch their new Welsh branch. Attendees, including Welsh exporters and members of the institute, listened to a video presentation by Vaughan Gethin MS, Welsh Government Minister for Economy, before the Rt Hon David TC Davies, Secretary of State for Wales, took the stand to highlight the importance of export for Welsh businesses. As an ex-graduate member of the Institute of Export, I am thrilled about the launch of a local Welsh branch. The Institute of Export provides a wide range of services to exporters including training and support and provided me with a far better understanding of the complexities of export trade.
