Kevin Keegan Fits The Bill

Football legend Kevin Keegan came to Cardiff for a special dinner organised by Fits The Bill.  The evening, staged at the Marriott Hotel, was hosted by comedians Rod Woodward and Gary Marshall.  Sony UK Technology Centre sponsored the event and presented a donation to Cerebral Palsy Cymru.  On the night, Jo Davies and I photographed attendees of the VIP reception with Kevin, printing them and having them signed at the event.  Keegan started his career at Scunthorpe United before moving to Liverpool in 1971, where he carved a reputation as one of the world’s leading strikers.  After stints with Hamburg, Southampton and Newcastle, Keegan moved into management.  With Newcastle side, he developed an exciting attacking style of football that so nearly won the Premier League title in the 1995-96 season.  He went on to manage England.  One of my sporting heroes, especially as I am a huge Liverpool fan!
