I discovered the Mod culture and music during its resurgence in the late 1970s. There was a unique energy and style that captured my imagination then and still does today. So when I stumbled across these aged Mods with their scooters outside a coffee house in Cardiff, I took the opportunity to take some photos. The scooters included a Vespa and Lambretta, all wonderfully cared for and looking amazing with their array of headlamps. I also bumped into a group of Mods and scooters outside a McDonalds just outside Cardiff and again took the opportunity to take some photographs, this time using my Canon fish-eye lens for a very different perspective.
