This year’s Tŷ Hafan Christmas Concert at St David’s Hall in Cardiff was something very special. The packed audience was treated to a musical extravaganza with a starring performance from the wonderful Callum Scott Howells. Compere Steve Speirs had the audience laughing, whilst the Treorchy Male Voice Choir and the Choir of St John’s College Cardiff delivered some musical treats. Tŷ Hafan mum Kerry bravely shared her story with Steve, explaining the importance of the hospice in supporting her family. Her words resonated with any family who have a child with a life-limiting illness or who have lost a child. The evening ended with some festive classics, leaving the audience with the magical feeling that Christmas had just begun. A fantastic evening raising funds for a charity very close to my heart.
