In early June 2026, over 40 teams travelled to North Wales to take on the Tŷ Hafan Welsh 3 Peaks . This is one of my favourite events to cover and I joined the intrepid trekkers to photograph their endeavours climbing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Cadair Idris and Pen-y-Fan. The challenge never gets any easier and the unusually cold, windy and wet conditions pushed everyone to the limit. Thanks to the brave souls who took part and raised precious funds for Tŷ Hafan, a charity very close to my and my family’s heart, and all the volunteers who made this possible.
