On day 4, the team set off with Jake and Joe from Brecon at 6am and spirits were high. We hiked into the Bannau Brycheiniog mountains following the path up and between Cribyn and Fan-y-Big and finishing in the Upper Neuadd reservoir car park. The 8 mile hike took 3 hours 17 minutes with a 1657 feet climb. The team then climbed on their bikes and joined Dean and Will for the long ride to Cardiff Bay along the Taff Trail, with a quick stop-off in McDonalds in Merthyr, covering the 39 miles in 4 hours 21 minutes and ascending 1450 feet. We were greeted by families, friends and Tŷ Hafan staff at Cardiff Bay. It was amazing and very emotional. But the challenge was not over. The team put their walking boots on for the final time and followed the coastal path to the Tŷ Hafan children’s hospice at Sully. When we arrived, the team received an amazing greeting by staff, families and children and the finish in the gardens was exceptionally emotional. The team had done it. They had completed the length of Wales triathlon! Just Giving > https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/bike-boat-boot
