The special Tŷ Hafan Christmas carol concert in the beautiful Llandaff Cathedral was the perfect start to the 2021 festive season. Hosted by the wonderful Lucy Owen, the audience was treated to stunning performance by the Cardiff Metropolitan Cathedral Choir and a first post-Covid lockdown rendition from the Treorchy Male Voice Choir. Professor Tony Curtis, an Emeritus Professor of Poetry at the University of South Wales, read a poem and the evening’s proceedings were completed with a moving poem read by Seth Burke, Tŷ Hafan’s first member of the Welsh Youth Parliament. A magical way to start this year’s festive season.
